Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadow Fierce & Tangy: A Review

After having reviewed Bad To Bronze and Pomegranate Punk from the Color Tattoo range its Fierce & Tangy’s turn!  I kept this product to be reviewed at last because it is the only bold eye shadow that I own. It is a lovely shade when applied and you would be amazed with its outcome.

This comes out excellently on eyelids and can be easily carried off on daily basis. They don’t appear gaudy or tacky at all instead they blend out so well and brightens up your eye.  So all you beauties out there go and get your hands on this shade it’s a must have in your vanity.

How to Use:-

Illuminate with fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards.  For added drama, darken as desired.

Must be used before 30 months from the date of manufacturing

Packaging:-

Color Tattoos come in transparent tiny Glass pots with black plastic lids. They are so adorable that I am in love with the packaging. The quality of the glass is pretty good and makes its look expensive that it actually is. You might find it bit heavy but is travel friendly, although not light enough to carry all of them in your vanity case. The thickness of the glass pot gives creates an illusion of its quantity which is much less in real.   

My experience of using Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye shadow in Fierce & Tangy:-

The shade Fierce & Tangy is a perfect bold matty shade from the Color Tattoo range. It is a bright light orangey shade that has very fine shimmers of golden color, which can be seen only with closer look. 

The texture of Fierce & Tangy is creamy and smooth. It just glides off without any efforts on our eye lids. You can easily apply it with fingers and layer it up to make it more intense. It dries up quickly but gives you fair enough time to blend it. Though fingers do a fair job with blending, I recommend applying it with brush.

The color pigmentation is just amazing. Even a single swipe gives you pretty much coverage. Layer it on for deep orangey shade, which vibrant even after blending. Pair it up with goldens and browns to make the best out of this shade.

The staying power of Maybelline Color Tattoos is very awesome, once applied they don’t budge until you want to remove it. It dries on your eyelids and stays for good 6-8 hours without creasing. It has worked on my oily eyelids without any primer for almost whole day.

• Blends easy without leaving patches
• Stays as put for the whole day without creasing
• Comes off easily with Makeup remover
• Cheap for the quality and amount of product you get

Nays of Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy:-

I don’t find any more cons in this product. But I think Maybelline must introduce more shades in this range. 

Would I buy Maybelline Color Tattoo Fierce & Tangy again?

Obviously, I would but definitely not this shade as this pot will take forever to finish. I will very well try me hands on some new shades from this range. 

For all those who are looking forward to use this shade, I will say this is a must-have and highly recommended one.
